17th August 2003, Sunday. Weather: Cloudy

Today, we are off to one of the favourite spots in Singapore where it promises to let you enjoy the sun, the sand and the sea - Palawan Beach at Sentosa. The beach is about 5 minutes drive from the main entrance of the island, and once we are there, we went hunting for a good spot to unload our stuffs.

Here's our spot. Say hi everyone.

Having found a place for our BBQ, it's time to get on to the more serious stuff, the beach games... so what are we playing guys?

Well off course, here at Sentosa, when you talk about beach games, most people will think of Beach Volleyball and Frisbee. So, no real discussion was required and everyone headed for the beach as soon as we could. You could tell the amount enthusiasm in us as we forgot to bring our cameras along... so no pictures of bikini babes, maybe next time.

After the fun at the beach, we took our rest and then promptly went on to start the fire for the BBQ. (Partly because we were hungry of course, but more importantly, gloomy clouds has started to gather on top.)

Before long, the fire was up and we quickly started the BBQ, hoping to finish up before the rain starts. Just when we were halfway through, it started to dizzle, but we still went about barbequing, only that some of us had to use umbrellas to shelter the barbeque pit from the rain.

Lucky for us, the rain did not get any heavier and it stopped after a short while. Now we can eat in peace.

Err... or maybe provided that not all the food look burned like this.

It was nightfall when we finished barbequing all the food that we have brought, so we decided to move all the food and our stuff to a small hut near the beach. There, we played more games, except this time we have forfeiters eat up the plate of food we "filled-up" before each set of the game.

After a few hours of laughter and entertainment, we unwilling had to part with the island and leave for home. What a day.
